On April 22, an event called “Walking into Frontline Enterprises to Observe Tax Compliance” took place in Yongchuan District, Chongqing. There, tax authorities have greatly contributed to the development of “digital-physical integration” and promoted corporate compliance, achieving notable practical results.
The Yongchuan Technology Film Studio features Asia’s largest curved LED virtual shooting screen, dominating the entire view. Dawa Technology Group’s subsidiary, Chongqing Dawa Hezhi Image Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Dawa Hezhi), operates the Yongchuan Technology Film Studio.
During its growth, Dawa Hezhi has continuously promoted the coordinated development of artificial intelligence and the film industry, serving as a typical representative of “digital-physical integration.”
The company’s administrative director stated that in this business model, R&D innovation is key, and tax compliance is an important safeguard. The company consistently improves its internal control management system, implementing quarterly self-inspections for tax risks, pre-assessment of major matters, and a dual-person review system for key processes, promptly correcting deviations to prevent tax risks and ensure stable development.
Tax compliance relies not only on internal corporate efforts but also on the supervision and assistance of tax authorities. Since 2025, Chongqing’s tax departments have fully utilized their functions by compiling guidelines such as the “Compilation of Tax and Fee Preferential Policies to Support the Development of the Technology Film Industry in Western Chongqing.” These efforts guide relevant business entities in accurately applying tax and fee preferential policies, handling tax matters compliantly, and preventing various tax risks, driving the technology film industry toward intelligent and high-end development.
In Chongqing, tax compliance ensuring the high-quality development of “digital-physical integration” is not limited to the film industry. With the advancement of “artificial intelligence+,” the momentum for “digital-physical integration” across various industries continues to be activated.
Strategic emerging industries, such as intelligent connected new energy vehicles, are important economic growth points. Leveraging the solid automotive industry foundation of the Sichuan and Chongqing regions and the momentum from the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle construction, a world-class industrial cluster is beginning to take shape.
As one of Chongqing’s demonstration areas for “vehicle-road-cloud integration,” Yongchuan District achieved the full-area open operation of unmanned autonomous driving demonstration services for the “RoboTaxi” project as early as 2022, becoming China’s first city to operate unmanned autonomous driving demonstrations.
There, autonomous driving is not only a cutting-edge technological showcase but also a reflection of the dual drive of innovation and compliance.
Baidu Zhixing Information Technology (Chongqing) Co., Ltd., which leads the “RoboTaxi” project, has established a full life-cycle management mechanism for invoices to ensure compliance. This includes closed-loop control from invoice receipt and recording to declaration and deduction, ensuring standardized and accurate invoice management, tax declaration, and preferential policy application.
Additionally, a list specifies the declaration deadlines for various taxes and financial statements, with multiple personnel cross-checking the accuracy and completion of declarations to prevent risks of overdue or incorrect submissions.
In recent years, aiming for the goal of a world-class intelligent connected new energy vehicle industrial cluster, Chongqing has built a comprehensive support system.
Among these efforts, tax authorities have introduced 17 measures to support the high-quality development of technology innovation enterprises and 20 measures to assist manufacturing upgrades. They have established regular cooperation with departments such as science and technology, human resources and social security, and finance, constructing a full-chain service management model of “compliance assessment—risk warning—full process guidance,” jointly fostering a favorable industrial development ecosystem.
Whether it is the film studio simulating the vast world or the autonomous vehicles racing through the intelligent era, both showcase the vibrant vitality of “digital-physical integration.” Chongqing’s tax authorities adhere to the bottom line of tax compliance, fully safeguarding the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy, and continuously providing solid support for Chongqing’s high-quality development.
