This prestigious honor is jointly awarded by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. The award holds significant weight in the global architectural field and is consistently ranked among the world’s top ten architectural awards.
This award not only represents high recognition for the design and construction quality of G Clef Bridge but also marks further acknowledgment of Bailu Music Town’s influence in the international cultural tourism field, which will further propel the town onto the international stage.
In its design, G Clef Bridge draws inspiration from melodious musical rhythms and the vortices formed by flowing water. It not only connects the valley terrain and waterfront scenery but also serves as a multifunctional public space integrating pedestrian pathways, viewing platforms, music hall seating, and nighttime lighting installations.
The G Clef Bridge is a modern pedestrian bridge in Tokyo, Japan, designed to resemble a giant treble clef from above. It was constructed in 1987 to connect two shopping centers and provide a unique landmark in the Shibuya district. Its iconic musical shape makes it a popular and instantly recognizable piece of urban architecture.
