Chrysanthemums are among China’s top ten famous flowers, not only decorating autumn with their splendid beauty but also deeply integrated into Chengdu’s cultural fabric. The Chengdu People’s Park 2025 Chrysanthemum Viewing Event, the city’s “autumn exclusive,” will take place from October 23 to November 20. With the theme “Splendid Tianfu, Chrysanthemums Sing of Golden Autumn,” the event invites visitors to enjoy the chrysanthemum charm and spend wonderful autumn moments together.

This year’s chrysanthemum cultural experience event features six elaborately designed thematic landscapes. The “Splendid Tianfu, Chrysanthemums Sing of Golden Autumn” at the north entrance plaza weaves vibrant urban life scenes with abundant flowers. The “Through Millennia, Ancient Shu’s Twin Treasures” in the large lawn area brings history to life among the blooms. The central flower bed’s “Poetic Chengdu, Golden Autumn Chrysanthemum Charm” integrates poetic意境 into the garden design. The monument plaza’s “Remembering Monuments, Honoring Martyrs” expresses respect through chrysanthemums. The south entrance plaza’s “Tianfu Greenway, Romantic Golden Autumn” showcases ecological beauty, while the east entrance plaza’s “Twin-City Economic Circle, Building Prosperity Together” depicts new era developments with floral arrangements.

Chengdu People’s Park
