This special voyage, jointly organized by Adora Cruises, Hyde Media, and Beijing Hengxin International Travel Agency, features a unique at-sea comedy performance by the founder of Beijing Deyun Society, Guo Degang, and the troupe’s core team, offering guests a chance to experience the charm of traditional Chinese art.

This themed voyage is part of the sixth season of the “Joyful Ocean · Feast of Laughter” series—a global comedy tour by Deyun Society. Starring the iconic duo Guo Degang and Yu Qian, along with supporting performances by Gao Feng and Luan Yunping, Shao Bing and Cao Heyang, Zhang Heqing and Liu Zhe, and other talented Deyun Society performers, the cruise promises a lineup of classic comedy acts for an unforgettable cultural experience at sea.

As one of China’s most influential professional comedy troupes, Deyun Society has always adhered to the principle of “bringing comedy back to the theater,” dedicating itself to preserving and innovating traditional performing arts while bringing joy to audiences nationwide.

Adora Cruises stated: “We are committed to integrating Chinese cultural elements into the cruise experience, creating luxury voyages tailored for Chinese travelers. The Deyun Society comedy performance is another innovative step in our ‘cruise + culture’ approach, using the ship as a platform to showcase China’s rich heritage and promote cultural exchange. Through comedy—a beloved art form—we aim to bring laughter and connection to our guests, enriching their journey with cultural immersion.”

The Deyun Society-themed voyage departs from Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal on July 15 for a 5-day, 4-night itinerary visiting popular destinations Jeju and Fukuoka. Guests can also enjoy the “Nezha’s Ocean Adventure” summer event, featuring interactive activities inspired by Chinese animation, as well as seasonal culinary offerings like BBQ, seafood specialties, and summer cocktails.
