Modi’s birthday will be celebrated along with Liberation Day.
Hyderabad: Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy said that the upcoming 17th September in Hyderabad will be celebrated as Liberation Day as well as the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On Sunday, Kishan Reddy watched the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program with local people in Borabanda. On the occasion, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi communicates with the people every month and gives clear messages on various issues like development, culture, sports, and infrastructure.
The Prime Minister has once again highlighted the importance of the Swachh Bharat program. Kishan Reddy said that 13 months after India’s independence, police action was taken through the intervention of the then Deputy Prime Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and the Nizam’s army and Razakars were defeated, resulting in the hoisting of the tricolor flag in Hyderabad. In the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program, PM Modi mentioned the efforts made by Sardar Patel for the merger of the Telangana state into India.

Hyderabad Liberation Day will be celebrated on 17th September at the Secunderabad Parade Ground. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will attend this event. On the same day, Vishwakarma Day will also be celebrated as National Labor Day. Since the same day is also the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, three important events will be organized in Telangana on that same day. Kishan Reddy said that the derogatory and inhumane remarks made by Congress party leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and his supporters, about Modi’s mother in Bihar are condemnable. Targeting the state government, he alleged that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy are looting thousands of crores of rupees.

They were loyal to the Nizam of Hyderabad and were mobilized to resist integration into the Indian Union. The group is a controversial part of the region’s history, remembered for its role in the violent conflict that preceded the «Police Action» which ended the Nizam’s rule.
