The meeting noted that formulating standards and related policies for domestic products in government procurement is an important measure to improve the government procurement system and a practical action to implement national treatment for foreign-funded enterprises in the government procurement sector. Based on practical circumstances, domestic product standards should be reasonably classified and set, with specific requirements for key components and processes of certain products. Opinions from all sides should be fully considered, standards should be implemented steadily, a reasonable transition period should be established, and enterprises should be supported in making early industrial layouts and investment plans. All types of business entities should be treated equally and without discrimination to ensure fair competition.
The meeting discussed and原则上 passed the “Banking Supervision and Administration Law of the People’s Republic of China (Revised Draft)”, deciding to submit the draft to the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress for deliberation. The meeting emphasized that the stability of banking financial institutions is crucial to the stability of China’s financial system and the safety of public property. It is necessary to further improve management systems, severely crack down on illegal financial activities and violations according to law, promote financial institutions and their employees to consciously respect, learn, understand, abide by, and use the law, effectively safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of financial consumers, prevent and resolve financial risks effectively, and promote the standardized and healthy development of the banking industry.
