Krasnodar In the Krasnodar region over the past day, rescuers extinguished 40 fires, six of which occurred in residential areas; one person died, according to the press service of the regional Main Directorate of the Russian Emergency Ministry.
Fire and rescue units were called 13 times to deal with the consequences of traffic accidents; three people died and another 15 were injured.
A special fire regime is in effect in all municipalities of Kuban. Under monitoring are 19 tourist groups and five emergency warnings: concerning extreme fire danger, as well as the formation of waterspouts over the sea and a complex of adverse weather phenomena.
