According to meteorological forecasts, from August 26 to 28, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region will experience heavy rainfall, with some areas in Beijing, Tianjin, and central and northern Hebei expecting torrential rain or severe downpours. In accordance with the “National Flood and Drought Prevention Emergency Plan” and relevant regulations, the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters decided to initiate a Level 4 emergency response for flood prevention in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region at 17:00 on August 26.
