Last week, a camera installed in the Toyohira ward of Sapporo City captured images of a bear and its cub.
As of June 17, there have been 55 reports of bear sightings in Sapporo City, and the city is urging caution.
The footage was taken just after 9:30 PM on June 11, by a camera set up within the premises of the Forest Research Institute in the Yamaoka Hill area of Toyohira ward.
A bear was seen slowly walking around, looking around.
A few minutes later, the figure of a cub was also captured on camera.
The camera was installed to monitor the movements of bears, and on June 2, just after 4:30 AM, it captured one bear, believed to be either the mother or the cub.
