On August 20, local residents reported on social networks that two underage residents of the resort city were hospitalized.
According to them, two boys, 14 and 15 years old, were partying at a karaoke bar on Navaginskaya Street the previous evening, after which they required medical assistance.
The Sochi police clarified that a report from the hospital stating that emergency medical care had been provided to two teenagers, 14 and 15 years old, was received on August 19 at 8:40 PM. One of the minors was hospitalized in the intensive care unit.
Law enforcement officials established that at 5:00 PM, the teenagers were celebrating a friend’s birthday with their friends. The minors were consuming alcohol. Afterwards, they headed to a club on Navaginskaya Street, but were not let in.
“After that, the eighth-graders went to a computer club, where they began to feel unwell. An investigation is underway,” reports the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Krasnodar Krai.
