Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport Welcomes First Batch of Visa-Free Travelers from Argentina

On the evening of June 1st, the first group of Argentine passengers arrived at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport on Korean Air flight KE2209 from Seoul Gimpo to Shanghai Hongqiao.

That evening, the arrival hall at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport was bustling. Two foreign passengers approached the information desk to inquire, “Can we enter without a visa?” and “Can we stay in China for 30 days?” After the officer checked their Argentine ordinary passports, they gave a positive response, and the two happily gave a thumbs up, exclaiming “NICE! NICE!” as they headed to the verification counter.
