The “2025 Shanghai-Hong Kong Innovation Project Selection” organized in Shanghai recently focused on artificial intelligence and biomedicine. The event aims to strengthen the collaboration between Shanghai and Hong Kong in the field of scientific innovation by setting up a bi-city bi-directional science and innovation project incubation mechanism, achieving complementary advantages and joint development.
The selection is open to startups, university students, and creative individuals/groups. It operates on a “dual track” mode, divided into a startup group (companies or teams with fewer than 10 members, registered for no more than 2 years, with no more than one financing round) and a growth group (companies with no more than 50 employees, registered for no more than three years, with up to three financing rounds).
