The organizing committee for the International Video Art Forum in its sixth edition announced the acceptance of 56 works from 29 countries, after registration closed with the submission of 127 works from 41 countries. The event is scheduled to take place in mid-December and is organized in partnership with the Cinema Association.
The forum yesterday presented a workshop on “Creating Video Art with Artificial Intelligence,” which discussed the activity of producing video art in the Kingdom and the Arab world. It emphasized the importance of advancing the visual cultural movement, striving to develop creative human capital, and supporting and encouraging talents and artists. The workshop highlighted the preliminary steps on theoretical fundamentals and practical applications in this area, explored artificial intelligence tools and visual effects, and discussed the future of Arab cinema and video art through practical skills.
It is noted that during its previous five editions, the forum succeeded in presenting contemporary artistic visual experiences with high technology, attracting more than 823 artistic works from more than 70 countries around the world, and hosting 31 specialized art seminars and workshops.
