Reminding the Congress of past incidents, Fadnavis said that the Congress had previously insulted Prime Minister Modi by calling him a ‘merchant of death’. However, whenever the Congress has made such personal attacks on the Prime Minister, the people of the country have given a fitting reply to the Congress through the ballot box. According to Fadnavis, this statement is not just an insult to an individual, but an insult to the highest office of the country and 140 crore Indians. He expressed his belief that this culture of the Congress is dangerous for democracy, and the people will definitely avenge this insult in the future. He also made it clear that crossing the limits of language while making political criticism will cost the Congress dearly.
