700 participants took part in the Early Childhood Sports Championship at the Rawamangun Baseball Field, Pulo Gadung, East Jakarta. This annual routine event was attended by 110 kindergartens from all over Jakarta.
Five types of sports are contested: futsal, shadow gymnastics for boys and girls, relay races for boys and girls, and ball throwing.
With the regular holding of this early childhood sports championship, it is hoped that children will become accustomed to competition, thus building a strong spirit of sportsmanship.
