Nanning Residential Area
The Nanning residential area refers to the historic neighborhoods and housing developments in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi, China. These areas showcase a blend of traditional Zhuang minority culture and modern urban growth, with older districts featuring courtyard-style homes and narrow lanes reflecting the city’s history as a trading hub. Rapid urbanization since the 20th century has transformed many residential zones into high-rise apartments and commercial complexes, preserving only pockets of traditional architecture.
