The President Director of Bank Mandiri Taspen, Panji Irawan, emphasized that retirement is not the end of productivity, but rather a life phase that can still be lived healthily, actively, prosperously, and meaningfully.
This commitment was realized through the organization of an event titled “Glow and Grow” in commemoration of National Elderly Day at the Graha Mantap Building, Bank Mandiri Taspen Head Office, Jakarta.
“Through the Glow and Grow event, we want to show that retirement is not the end of productivity, but a life phase that can still be lived healthily, actively, prosperously, and meaningfully. This aligns with Bank Mandiri Taspen’s commitment to implementing the three Mantap pillars: Mantap Sehat, Mantap Aktif, and Mantap Sejahtera,” said Panji.
The event, attended by 80 retired customers, is part of Bank Mandiri Taspen’s efforts to improve the quality of life for the elderly through the implementation of the company’s three main pillars: Mantap Sehat, Mantap Aktif, and Mantap Sejahtera.
With the theme “Glow and Grow,” the event was designed as a platform for education, empowerment, and fellowship for retirees to remain active, healthy, productive, and confident in their post-career lives.
During the event, the Board of Directors of Bank Mandiri Taspen directly interacted with participants and symbolically handed over eyeglass assistance to retired customers in need as a form of concern for elderly health.
Several activities were held to support the health and well-being of participants, including health check-ups, group tai chi, health seminars, a beauty class, and a Customer Entrepreneurship Corner that gave retirees the opportunity to promote and market their business products.
Panji stated that Bank Mandiri Taspen will continue to present empowerment programs that provide real benefits to retired customers.
According to him, the company’s services focus not only on banking aspects but also on improving the overall quality of life for customers.
Through this activity, Bank Mandiri Taspen hopes that the elderly can continue to be healthy, active, independent, and empowered individuals, while also inspiring the public to pay more attention to the welfare of the elderly group in Indonesia.
