The Vice President of the Planning Sector at the Riyadh Region Infrastructure Projects Center, Engineer Badr Al-Tamimi, stated that the number of infrastructure projects in Riyadh last year, 2025, exceeded 190,000 projects, for which licenses were issued by the center, marking an annual growth of approximately 25%.
Engineer Al-Tamimi considered this growth an indicator of healthy expansion and significant urban development, while the center’s role is to ensure these projects are executed in an exceptional manner that does not affect residents, and to guarantee that all services reach the developed projects.
He added that the comprehensive detailed plan for infrastructure project works in the region aims to execute projects with high efficiency and without conflicts, while also ensuring that residents can reach their homes smoothly and easily.
