In the “Happy Land” case, the prosecution maintains the evidence and demands punishment for the accused if convicted: he preyed on the innocence of children.
The trial session of the owner and manager of “Happy Land” language school in Osim saw new developments, as the prosecution presented during its argument the details of the evidence and testimonies in the case, in which the accused is charged with molesting a number of children.
The prosecution representative confirmed that the investigations included statements from several children and their families, along with witness testimonies and investigations that the prosecution believes support the charges against the accused, noting that the documents revealed his exploitation of his administrative position within the school to directly interact with some children and isolate them.
The prosecution also relied on the testimony of a female employee at the school, who stated that she noticed the accused’s repeated interest in young children, despite the nature of his work not requiring that, which raised her suspicions as per the investigations.
The prosecution requested the court to apply the law if the charges are proven, emphasizing that the case involves a major responsibility within an educational institution that is supposed to provide protection and care for children.
The accused was arrested earlier after a video clip circulated on social media, before being referred to the prosecution and then to the competent court to decide on the charges against him.
