Belawan. The Belawan Class II TPI Immigration Office has again provided immigration services through the Eazy Paspor program, this time held at Advent Hospital Medan.
This mobile outreach program aims to make it easier for people to process new passport applications or renewals without having to come directly to the immigration office.
The Head of the Belawan Class II TPI Immigration Office stated that the activity is part of the Belawan Immigration’s efforts to bring services closer to the community through the Eazy Paspor program.
During the service, officers from the Belawan Class II TPI Immigration Office handled 32 passport applications. Of these, 11 applicants applied for new passports, while the remaining 21 applicants processed passport renewals.
The Eazy Paspor program is an innovative collective service that allows people to receive passport services at specific locations without needing to visit the immigration office. Through this service, the passport processing becomes more practical, efficient, and time-saving for applicants.
The office head emphasized that they continue to strive to improve the quality of public services through various innovations that facilitate public access to immigration services.
According to him, the presence of the Eazy Paspor service is one form of public service transformation carried out by Belawan Immigration to meet the increasingly dynamic needs of the community.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Advent Hospital Medan department expressed appreciation for the implementation of the Eazy Paspor service at the hospital.
He assessed that the program greatly helps employees and the public who need passport application and renewal services.
“On behalf of Advent Hospital Medan, we thank the Belawan Class II TPI Immigration Office for holding the Eazy Paspor service. The arrival of the immigration officers greatly helped us in making new passports or renewals,” he said.
According to him, the presence of immigration officers directly at the location provides convenience for employees as they no longer need to set aside special time to come to the Belawan Immigration Office.
“Everyone is happy because they no longer need to go to the Belawan Immigration Office. Just come to Advent Hospital, and they can take care of their passports more easily and comfortably,” he said.
