The headquarters of stationery manufacturer KOKUYO has moved from Higashinari Ward, Osaka, and we were given a special tour of the press preview held on May 21, 2026!

A press conference was held ahead of the preview, where KOKUYO Co., Ltd. President Kuroda took the stage.

During the conference, President Kuroda stated, “KOKUYO has moved its headquarters for the first time in 90 years to the Grand Green Osaka Park Tower as KOKUYO HQ. This is not just a relocation of offices. We are making this a large-scale public experiment for KOKUYO, redefining the connections between people, companies, and society. We will be developing various interactions inside and outside Grand Green Osaka.”

This area is a space that promotes concentration and relaxation for employees in a calm environment, allowing them to immerse themselves in input and their own thoughts.
This area is a gym set up with consideration for employee health, where they can hold meetings while sitting on balance balls or engage in collaborative physical activities to deepen interaction.

This is the executive meeting room. According to the person in charge, when the executive meeting room is vacant, it can also be used as a meeting room for employees, allowing direct face-to-face interactions between executives and employees, deepening their exchanges.

This area is filled with greenery and serves as a space for employee interaction and breaks.

A cooking space is also set up in this area!
According to the person in charge, employees here make okonomiyaki together to strengthen team cohesion and deepen exchanges with other departments, expanding their creativity around the griddle.

The areas introduced here were just a part, but there were also layouts promoting internal communication and workspaces supporting diverse work styles.

With the launch of ‘KOKUYO HQ’, we look forward to further energizing the companies and community in Kita Ward!

Grand Green Osaka Park Tower

Grand Green Osaka Park Tower is a modern mixed-use skyscraper in Osaka, Japan, completed in 2010 as part of the larger Grand Green Osaka urban redevelopment project. Founded in 1905 as a paper binding company, it grew into a leading brand known for products like the Campus notebook. The headquarters serves as the central hub for its global operations, reflecting the company’s long-standing influence in Japan’s office and educational supplies industry.

Osaka

Kita Ward

Kita Ward is one of the 23 special wards of Tokyo, Japan, known for its blend of residential areas and historical sites. It is home to the famous Oji Shrine and the Asukayama Park, a historic cherry blossom viewing spot established in the 18th century. The ward also features the Paper Museum and retains a connection to the Edo period through its well-preserved temples and traditional festivals.
