After a video of the young man being tied up and beaten circulated on social media, police investigated the matter. It was then revealed that the young man was beaten in the Pantdweep parking lot on suspicion of stealing from a car.
Police arrested the accused, Nutan, a resident of Bilai village in Bijnor district, and Robin, a resident of Mundlana, Manglaur.
City Police Officer Kundan Singh Rana said that both accused are parking employees. The parking operator has also been fined for failing to verify their background.
