Plum and Cherry Blossoms Dance Together, Building Harmony Across Ages

Recently, a cultural feast that has gathered the world’s attention under the theme “Appreciating Plum and Sakura Blossoms Together, Building Joyful Rhythms” – the International Festival of Culture and Arts for the Elderly, Suzhou Edition – opened its curtains. The festival, through a variety of cultural and artistic activities, showcases the unique cultural charm of Suzhou, promotes cultural exchanges and cooperation internationally, and presents the elegance of Suzhou’s elderly, bringing a dual feast of sight and sound to the citizens.

At the opening ceremony of the festival, more than 300 people from Suzhou’s elderly outstanding literary and art teams and art enthusiasts gathered. The festival aims to use art as a medium to allow every elder to display the brilliance of life, step out of the country, ascend a higher stage, and promote Chinese culture, showcasing the style of China’s elderly.
