Third Round of the Weiqi League: Shanghai Jushen Sports Draws with Chengdu Team at Home
On June 18, 2025, during the third round of the 2025 “Three Kingdoms Chibi Ancient Battlefield Cup” Chinese Go First League, the Shanghai Jushen Sports Team competed against the Chengdu team at the Shanghai Go Institute. After an intense afternoon of competition, the Shanghai Jushen Sports Team drew 2-2 with their opponents, maintaining a 2-2 draw in all three rounds of the season’s start.
The 2025 season started on May 27 in Changxing, Zhejiang. This season continues with 16 teams participating, and the new title sponsor is “Three Kingdoms Chibi Ancient Battlefield,” integrating the ancient fires of Chibi into the modern Go competition. The first round was held at the Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel in Changxing County, featuring the “Shanghai Derby” where the Shanghai Jushen Sports Team and the Shanghai Qingyi Team ended in a 2-2 draw.
