Surat. Western Railway has announced a 45-day mega block starting August 7, 2025, to increase the height of Platform No. 6 at Udhna Railway Station. During this period, Platform No. 6 will remain completely closed, and trains arriving or departing from there will be shifted to other platforms.
Notably, Platform No. 6 was inaugurated in January of this year, but passengers faced inconvenience due to its low height during the Holi and summer vacations. Taking passenger complaints seriously, the railway administration has decided to take corrective measures.
According to the Senior Divisional Operations Manager of Western Railway’s Mumbai Division, work to raise the platform height has already begun from August 5.

- 69170 – Nandurbar-Udhna MEMU
- 12935 – Bandra Terminus-Udhna Intercity Express
- 69178 – Nandurbar-Udhna MEMU
Trains previously operating from Platform No. 6 will now run from Platforms 2, 3, 4, or 5.
Affected Trains:
- Udhna-Danapur Express
- Udhna-Puri Express
- Udhna-Varanasi Express
- Udhna-Palghar MEMU
- Trains heading towards Bhusaval and Nandurbar
The railway administration has urged passengers to check updated platform and schedule information before their journey. Additionally, passengers are advised to cooperate with railway staff during the block period.
