A video showing an unusual wedding atmosphere went viral on social media. The video, shared by an Instagram account, drew attention because the bride and groom were victims of fraud by a wedding organizer.

Fraud has happened again, guys, this happened to our relatives. Be careful in choosing a wedding organizer, as I mentioned in my podcast yesterday on Densu.” the account wrote in its post.

In the video, the uploader showed the atmosphere at the event location. It was seen that the reception, which should have been grand and festive, became simple due to the absence of decorations, catering, and other facilities.

“This is really bad, my relative was a victim of the Marwah wedding organizer. Let’s take a look, they cheated, they’re irresponsible. None of this is here, the vendors ran away. There should have been a nice reception, catering, decorations, none of it. This has turned out really simple, just whatever. There’s nothing here. All the building, nothing has been paid for. The location is at Islamic Center Bekasi. Thank you,” said the uploader.

Then, in the next video, the uploader showed a statement from the bride who was a victim, named Fenny. Fenny’s wedding was held on May 23, 2026, without any decorations or catering.

“I am Fenny, a victim of Marwah Health & Safety. My event, which took place on May 23, 2026, did not happen, it did not proceed at Femi Islamic Center. There should have been a ceremony and reception. Because this vendor did not come, there were no decorations, no catering. No entertainment, no photographer, no videographer. It was all canceled, and the only ones who came were the makeup artist, hairdresser, master of ceremonies, and attire. Some of those hadn’t been paid by Marwah yet, but they still helped to come to my ceremony. And the reception was not held, that’s all. Thank you,” said the bride.

A quiet wedding atmosphere at Islamic Center Bekasi after the bride and groom were scammed by a wedding organizer. The event did not go as planned without decorations and catering due to the vendor fleeing.

The video post went viral and sparked various comments from netizens. Many expressed concern and regret over the incident. Many also advised prospective brides and grooms to be more selective in choosing a wedding organizer.

Just a suggestion, if you want to get married, choose the venue first, then ask the venue’s partners, starting from decorations, master of ceremonies, band, photographer, etc. Don’t follow wedding organizer exhibitions. Dangerous!!” suggested one account.

I want to know how much the wedding package was, and how many invitations?” asked another account.

Thanks to the master of ceremonies and makeup artist, it’s really cool they still wanted to support the family 😭😭😭,” replied another account.

Condolences that this incident keeps recurring 🙏🏻, for prospective brides and grooms, be more careful in
