During a checkpoint at Mumbai’s Marine Drive on Sunday night, a speeding Mercedes car hit two police officers. Both officers are seriously injured and admitted to the ICU. After the accident, the accused driver, Nihal Solanki, fled but was arrested by police from Nalasopara. Police suspect he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
