It is noteworthy that in the massive fire incident at the company, three employees have died a painful death so far, while several other employees, seriously burned, are fighting between life and death in hospitals. The severity of the accident can be gauged from the fact that the charred remains of two employees could only be pulled from the debris after a search operation lasting about five days. In the relief and rescue work, teams from the NDRF, administration, and police had to continuously put in immense effort.
According to police officials, the preliminary investigation into the accident has revealed signs of serious negligence in safety standards and operational procedures. On this basis, a case has been registered under various sections against the company management and responsible officials. Investigating agencies are now busy gathering documents, safety records, and employee statements.
