2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China, a crucial year for achieving the goals and tasks outlined in the “14th Five-Year Plan,” and a year for accelerating the implementation of the “Hundreds, Thousands, and Tens of Thousands Project” in Guangdong Province and Shenzhen City. Shenzhen City

Today, Shenzhen is known for its modern skyline, thriving tech industry, and as a symbol of China’s economic reform and opening-up policy.

Luohu District

Luohu District is a central urban area in Shenzhen, China, known as the city’s original commercial and financial hub. It was established as a Special Economic Zone in 1979, making it one of the first districts to drive Shenzhen’s rapid transformation from a small fishing village into a modern metropolis. Today, Luohu is famous for landmarks like Dongmen Pedestrian Street and the Luohu Commercial City, reflecting its history as a gateway for cross-border trade with Hong Kong.

Longlin

Longlin is a county in Guangxi, China, known for its stunning karst landscapes and diverse ethnic cultures, including the Miao, Yao, and Zhuang peoples. Historically, it was part of the ancient Baise region and has been inhabited for thousands of years, with evidence of prehistoric human activity found in nearby caves. Today, it is recognized for its vibrant festivals, traditional crafts, and natural beauty, attracting visitors interested in both history and ecotourism.

Xilin

Xilin, also known as Xilin Gol, is a vast grassland region in Inner Mongolia, China, renowned for its nomadic pastoral culture and stunning natural landscapes. Historically, it has been a significant area for Mongol herders, with the Xilin Gol League serving as an administrative division since the Qing Dynasty. Today, it remains a symbol of traditional Mongolian life, attracting visitors to its steppes, horse festivals, and the famous Xilin Gol Grassland.

Guangxi

Guangxi is an autonomous region in southern China known for its stunning karst landscapes, particularly around Guilin and Yangshuo. Historically, it was part of the ancient Baiyue tribal lands and later became a key area for trade and cultural exchange along the Zhuang River. Today, Guangxi is celebrated for its rich ethnic diversity, including the Zhuang people, and its role in Chinese tourism.

Lufeng City

Lufeng City, located in Guangdong Province, China, is a county-level city under the administration of Shanwei. Historically, it was part of the Haifeng and Lufeng region, which played a significant role during the Chinese Civil War as a revolutionary base area. Today, Lufeng is known for its cultural heritage, including the renowned Lufeng Shadow Puppetry, and its efforts in economic development and tourism.
