Krasnodar, June 17. The Governor of the Krasnodar Region held a regional meeting in Gulkievich. The participants discussed the nuances of the harvesting campaign.
– More than 1.7 million hectares of winter crops are to be harvested. This needs to be done as quickly as possible to avoid losses. Special attention should be paid to seed crops so that we can continue to proudly supply ourselves and other Russian regions with seeds of Kuban selection. We must achieve a decent harvest and remain a guarantor of food security and the breadbasket of the country, – said the Governor.
This week, the harvesting campaign will start in the region. As the Governor noted, it is now necessary to think about the 2026 harvest and start the work on purchasing seeds.
