MANILA – An additional 235 new 5G sites have been rolled out in key cities nationwide, boosting 5G coverage in these areas to about 98 percent.
5G coverage has expanded to 98.71 percent of Metro Manila and 97.97 percent in key cities in the Visayas and Mindanao in the first quarter of 2025.
This means faster, more reliable connections for millions who use their mobile phones for everything from work to entertainment. These new sites are already supporting over 9.5 million 5G devices, helping to make high-speed Internet available to even more people across the country
