DEPOK (18/05/2026) – The bureaucratic machinery of the Depok City Government is confirmed to undergo a significant reshuffle in the near future. Following the retirement of several high-ranking officials in the middle of this year, the list of strategic vacant positions within the city government is growing longer, simultaneously strengthening signals of a mass mutation among civil servants.

List of Senior Officials Entering Retirement

A number of prominent names in various departments and sub-district apparatus have officially entered retirement. Some of these include positions from secretaries to department heads:

  • Security & Order Sector: Anton Tofani Mucharam (Secretary of DPKP) and Ahmad Ubaidillah (Secretary of Satpol PP).

  • Infrastructure & Transportation Sector: Muksit Hakim (Secretary of Disrumkim) and Zamrowi (Head of Dishub).

  • Regional Assets & Apparatus Ranks: Aries Lolita Tjandra (Head of Finance and Asset Subdivision at BKD), Saiful Bahri (Secretary of Kukusan), Mardanih (Secretary of Mekarsari), Aprizal Yogasara (Head of Economy and Development Section in Serua Urban Village), and Muhamad Rusli (Head of Government and Public Order Section in Cisalak Urban Village).

In response to this wave of retirements, the Regional Secretary of Depok City, Mangnguluang Mansur, expressed deep appreciation for the decades of service of these civil servants and urged them to maintain good relations and remain active in the public sphere even after retirement.

Accumulation of Vacant Department Head Positions

The retirement of the Head of Dishub adds to the growing list of vacant echelon II positions. As of now, three vital agencies within the Depok City Government still lack definitive officials and are forced to be led by Acting Officials, namely:

  1. Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR)

  2. Department of Environment and Sanitation (DLHK)

  3. Agency for Personnel and Human Resource Development (BKPSDM)

Mayor’s Tactical Step: Preparing to Open Bidding

To prevent administrative obstacles in public services, the Mayor of Depok, H. Supian Suri, emphasized that the administration is moving quickly to map out the filling of positions. The Depok City Government plans to soon officially hold an open bidding process for the three vacant department head positions.

“The open bidding process will be opened soon to fill these strategic positions. We want to ensure the government machinery continues to run optimally,” confirmed Supian Suri.

The Mayor also guaranteed that although several top positions are currently filled by secretaries doubling as Acting Officials, the standard of public service quality across all Depok City Government agencies is ensured not to be disrupted and will continue to run normally according to procedures.
