The updated version of the new energy vehicle exemption catalog has been released, with the removal of 7 models including the NIO ET7.

On the 11th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the “Catalogue of New Energy Vehicle Models Exempted from Vehicle Purchase Tax (28th Batch),” which includes a total of 386 new energy vehicle models. Among them, there are 277 pure electric vehicles, 75 plug-in hybrid vehicles, and 34 fuel cell vehicles.

Compared with the 27th batch, the 28th batch shows an increase of 16 models in total. Specifically, pure electric vehicles increased by 10 models, plug-in hybrid vehicles decreased by 4 models, and fuel cell vehicles increased by 10 models.

In terms of passenger cars, the 28th batch includes 48 pure electric passenger car models and 6 plug-in hybrid passenger car models. Among them, the NIO ES8, NIO ES6, Weilai ET7, Weilai ET5, Weilai ES7, Weilai EC7, and Weilai EC6 have been removed.

It is worth noting that the NIO ET7, which was just launched in March this year, has also been removed. According to the official website of NIO, the ET7 is positioned as a mid-to-large pure electric sedan, with a starting price of 448,000 yuan.

In terms of commercial vehicles, the 28th batch includes 229 pure electric commercial vehicle models, 69 plug-in hybrid commercial vehicle models, and 34 fuel cell commercial vehicle models.

From the perspective of vehicle types, the 28th batch includes 22 pure electric buses, 21 pure electric logistics vehicles, 186 pure electric special vehicles, 69 plug-in hybrid buses, and 34 fuel cell buses.

In terms of fuel cell vehicles, the 28th batch includes 34 fuel cell commercial vehicle models, involving 21 companies such as Yutong Bus, Zhongtong Bus, and Foton Motor.

In terms of power battery types, the 28th batch includes 33 lithium iron phosphate battery models, 1 lithium manganate battery model, and 0 ternary lithium battery models.

In terms of driving range, the 28th batch includes 2 models with a range of 200-300 km, 4 models with a range of 300-400 km, 18 models with a range of 400-500 km, and 9 models with a range of over 500 km.

In terms of energy consumption, the 28th batch includes 1 model with energy consumption of less than 10 kWh/100km, 10 models with energy consumption of 10-15 kWh/100km, and 37 models with energy consumption of over 15 kWh/100km.

In terms of vehicle price, the 28th batch includes 2 models priced below 100,000 yuan, 11 models priced between 100,000-200,000 yuan, 10 models priced between 200,000-300,000 yuan, and 25 models priced above 300,000 yuan.

In terms of vehicle quality, the 28th batch includes 2 models with a mass of less than 1 ton, 13 models with a mass of 1-1.5 tons, and 33 models with a mass of over 1.5 tons.

In terms of vehicle dimensions, the 28th batch includes 2 models with a length of less than 4 meters, 10 models with a length of 4-4.5 meters, 18 models with a length of 4.5-5 meters, and 18 models with a length of over 5 meters.
