In the garden of a residence in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture, a woman with stab wounds was found collapsed and later died. Police plan to investigate the victim’s brother-in-law, believing he may have knowledge of the circumstances.
The deceased is a 53-year-old part-time employee from Kawashima Shinmachi, Yokkaichi City.
Around 9 a.m., her husband discovered her collapsed in the garden of the residence.
The woman had multiple stab wounds, apparently from a blade, on her abdomen and chest. She was taken to a hospital but died.
According to police, just before the discovery, the husband witnessed his wife and his brother arguing. The husband’s brother is reported to be injured.
Police plan to investigate this man, believing he may have knowledge of the situation.
