At 4:20 PM on August 5, the Qijiang Meteorological Observatory issued a “Blue Wind Warning.” Longsheng had already experienced 7-level winds, and from 4:20 PM on the 5th to 4:20 AM on the 6th, towns including Hengshan, Fuhuan, Sanjiao, Shijiao, Anwen, Yongcheng, Longsheng, Zhongfeng, Yongxin, Gunan, Xinsheng, Sanjiang, Wenlong, Tonghui, Dongxi, Shihao, Ganshui, Dadong, Dingshan, Guofu, and Zhuangtang would be affected by winds reaching level 7 or higher, accompanied by short-term heavy rain, thunderstorms, and other severe convective weather. At 4:20 PM on August 5, the Chengkou County Meteorological Observatory issued a “Blue Wind Warning.” Liaozixiang had already experienced 8-level winds, and from 4:20 PM to 10:20 PM, all townships (streets) in the county could be affected by winds reaching level 7 or higher. At 4:10 PM on August 5, the Fengdu County Meteorological Observatory issued a “Blue Wind Warning.” Dongjia had already experienced 7-level winds, and from 4:10 PM on the 5th to 4:10 AM on the 6th, towns including Dongjia, Qinglong, Shuanglong, Sanyuan, Xumingsi, Rensha, Baohe, Xinglong, and Shetan could be affected by winds reaching level 7 or higher, with localized short-term heavy rain and thunderstorms.
