BEKASI CITY – Akbar Satria Putra has been elected as the Head of the Jatibening Village Youth Organization (Karang Taruna) in Pondokgede District for the 2025–2030 term.
The young man, commonly called Putra, defeated two other candidates in the election held on Friday, August 1, 2025, at the Jatibening Village Hall. The three candidates running for the position were Putra, Reyhan, and Ayub.
The voting was conducted confidentially. The final results showed that Putra received 5 votes, followed by Ayub with 3 votes and Reyhan with 1 vote.
After being elected, Akbar Satria Putra expressed his gratitude to all participants and affirmed his commitment to advancing the role of youth in Jatibening.
“Thank you for this trust. I cannot work alone; we must move forward together to create productive spaces for the youth of Jatibening. I promise to make the Jatibening Youth Organization a home for all young people to nurture creativity and contribute to society,” said Putra.
Meanwhile, the Jatibening Village Head, represented by Mr. Iyan, appreciated the conducive and spirited election process.
“May the new leadership of the Jatibening Youth Organization collaborate with the village office in supporting youth and community social programs,” said Iyan.
With Akbar Satria Putra’s election as the new head, hopes arise for the Jatibening Youth Organization to become more active, innovative, and inclusive in addressing social challenges within the community.
