The Security Operations Department of the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency continues to carry out its field missions at a high pace, as part of ongoing efforts aimed at reducing the phenomenon of illegal immigration and enhancing security and stability in various regions.
These operations come in implementation of directives focusing on intensifying security campaigns and apprehending violators, while adhering to strict enforcement of the law, reflecting the institution’s commitment to imposing state authority.
Under direct supervision from the Operations Department director, intensive security campaigns were launched covering several locations where foreign workers and irregular migrants are present. Legal statuses of individuals were verified, conditions of those eligible were regularized, and legal measures were taken against violators.

These campaigns resulted in the arrest of 293 migrants of various nationalities, in an operation characterized by organization and precision, reflecting a high level of readiness among Security Operations Department personnel and their ability to efficiently handle various field conditions.
After completing initial procedures, all detainees were transferred to the Greater Benghazi Shelter Center, where necessary legal and administrative procedures will be completed, including reviewing their statuses to take appropriate action in accordance with applicable laws.
