The district head commented on the criminal fraud case involving the CEO of the regional government-owned enterprise.
He stated that the legal process for the suspect is fully entrusted to the Law Enforcement Authorities.
“The district government and the company will not provide legal aid to the individual,” he said on Monday (16/6/2025).
He added that in this case, there were deviations in the company’s management by the CEO, who has acted contrary to the applicable laws.
“The accused issued a bad check and was negligent in making strategic decisions without coordination with the board of commissioners,” he said.
He expressed concern and deep regret about the incident, which resulted in losses for the company and other parties.
He confirmed that the district government would soon hold an extraordinary general meeting to appoint a new CEO for the enterprise.
