First runner-up of Miss World Vietnam 2025, Le Phuong Khanh Nhu, will represent Vietnam at the Miss International 2026 pageant. Previously, beauty fans predicted Huynh Tran Y Nhi would be chosen.

On the evening of April 22, the official license holder of the pageant in Vietnam announced that beauty Khanh Nhu – first runner-up of Miss World Vietnam 2025 – will go to Japan to compete in Miss International 2026. She is the first beauty in the top 3 of Miss World Vietnam 2025 to be sent to an international competition.
“The first thing Nhu thought of was not pressure but gratitude. Grateful to be trusted to step onto the world beauty arena.
Nhu knows she still has many things to improve, and this makes her excited. Nhu is sure that she is not going alone but carries the trust and expectations of those who have accompanied her, especially the audience,” Khanh Nhu shared.
Earlier, the organizing committee announced a list of five potential candidates for this year’s Miss International pageant.
Notably, in this list was Miss Y Nhi. She was the only titleholder among the five candidates and was placed in the central position.
The other four candidates on this list included: Le Phuong Khanh Nhu – first runner-up of Miss World Vietnam 2025, Truong Tam Nhu – second runner-up of Miss World Vietnam 2025, Do Thi Phuong Thanh – first runner-up of Miss National Vietnam 2024, and Nguyen Thi Cam Ly – second runner-up of Miss National Vietnam 2024.
After the list announcement, the majority of beauty fans supported Miss Y Nhi to continue representing Vietnam at Miss International 2026.
Meanwhile, runner-up Khanh Nhu and Cam Ly also received many nominations as worthy representatives for Vietnam at Miss International 2026.
According to the organizing committee, Khanh Nhu is expected to depart for Japan in November this year. The final night will be held on November 25 at Tokyo Dome City Hall.
