A judicial delegation from the Board of Grievances has concluded its visit to the Supreme Administrative Court of the Republic of Finland. The visit aimed to learn about legal and procedural experiences in administrative justice, exchange expertise in litigation fields, and explore the emerging digital technologies employed there to facilitate and enhance procedures, while examining opportunities for their secure utilization.

The delegation was received by the President of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Republic of Finland and a number of court members. During the two-day visit, the delegation learned about the court’s working mechanisms, litigation pathways, systems for managing administrative cases, and the technological developments and judicial digitization it is witnessing.

The visit also included a tour of the court’s corridors and judicial chambers, and an overview of lawsuit procedures and courtrooms. Additionally, a dialogue session was held where the delegation presented the Saudi experience in administrative justice, including its governance and digitization of litigation, and the harnessing of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to improve the experience of beneficiaries. This reflects the Board of Grievances’ objectives towards leadership in administrative justice.
