It’s actually very simple, just two steps: first, bind the family pooling relationship, then set the primary payment card for the personal account.

01. How to Bind a Family Pooling Relationship?

Access the “Guangdong Healthcare” mini-program on WeChat. After logging in, navigate from the “Homepage” -> “I Want to Handle Affairs” -> “View More” to find the “Personal Account Family Pooling Binding/Unbinding” function in the “Business Processing” module. Click the “plus” sign and follow the on-screen prompts to add a pooling relationship. After submission, a “Submission Successful” message indicates the process is complete.

After binding, the patient must also set a “Primary Payment Card for Personal Account” to enable actual payment.

02. How to Set the Primary Payment Card for a Personal Account?

(1) Setting Your Own Primary Payment Card

Basic medical insurance participants in our city can manage their primary payment card via the “Guangdong Healthcare” WeChat mini-program, the “Shenzhen Healthcare” WeChat official account, the personal online service system, or medical insurance self-service terminals. The “Shenzhen Healthcare” official account and personal online service system redirect to the “Guangdong Healthcare” mini-program for processing. The operation process for the “Guangdong Healthcare” WeChat mini-program is as follows:

After logging into “Guangdong Healthcare,” confirm that the insured region selected in the top left corner of the homepage is “Shenzhen.” Navigate from “Homepage” -> “I Want to Handle Affairs” -> “View More” to find the “Primary Payment Card Management for Personal Account” function in the “Business Processing” module. After reading the prompt, turn on the “Set as Primary Card” switch to successfully set your own personal account as the primary card. If you wish to select an authorized family member’s personal account as the primary card, click “Set Pooling Account” -> “Confirm” under the bound family member to complete the setup.

Note: “Query Primary Card Payment History Settings” allows you to view the historical settings for your personal account’s primary payment card.
