Азиатский город

“Азиатский город” (Asian City) is a common Russian term for the historic Tatar settlement located within the city of Kazan, Russia. Historically, it was established after Ivan the Terrible’s conquest in the 16th century as a designated area for Tatar and other Asian traders and craftsmen outside the fortress walls. Today, it is a cultural district known for its mosques, traditional Tatar architecture, and as a symbol of the city’s long-standing multicultural heritage.

Азия

“Asia” is not a specific cultural site but the world’s largest continent, encompassing a vast and diverse array of places and civilizations. Its history is foundational to humanity, being the birthplace of major world religions, ancient empires (like those in Mesopotamia, India, and China), and countless cultural traditions. From the Great Wall of China to the temples of Angkor Wat, its historical sites reflect millennia of innovation, trade, and cultural exchange.
