Krasnodar, February 19. Russian President Vladimir Putin participated via video conference in the opening of a children’s clinic in the Pavlovsky district of Kuban. The head of state noted that the governor of Krasnodar Krai, Veniamin Kondratyev, is appropriately setting priorities in the region’s healthcare sector.
The ceremony for opening new medical facilities in the country’s regions was held before a meeting of the Russian President with Government members dedicated to modernizing primary healthcare. The social facility was presented to Vladimir Putin by Governor Veniamin Kondratyev and the chief physician of the Pavlovskaya Central District Hospital, Igor Borisov.
« I want to thank the governor of Krasnodar Krai. Out of the over one billion cost of this facility – more than two-thirds – are regional funds. This indicates that the governor is appropriately setting his priorities. 250 visits per day by children living in the stanitsa and nearby – this is a very good indicator, » said Vladimir Putin.
According to him, modern, well-equipped hospitals, clinics, oncology dispensaries, and diagnostic laboratories are significant for citizens, supporting families, motherhood and childhood, caring for the older generation, improving the quality of life, and overall for solving demographic development and population preservation tasks. According to Vladimir Putin, the country will continue to build up the capacity of medical institutions and improve the system of remuneration and professional training for medical workers. It is also planned to more actively introduce advanced platform and digital technologies into the industry so that medical professionals can work in modern, comfortable conditions and citizens can receive qualified assistance in a timely manner.
As noted by the governor of Kuban, over six years, 270 paramedic-midwife stations and general practitioner offices have been built in the region, 4 new clinics have been opened, and another 8 are currently at various stages of construction. A complete reconstruction of the regional clinical hospital and the children’s regional hospital, including the construction of a treatment building, has been carried out.
« There has never been construction of medical facilities on such a scale in the region before. This children’s clinic in the Pavlovskaya stanitsa, which we are opening today, was also built as part of the national project ‘Long and Active Life’. 11,000 children live in the Pavlovsky district, and previously the children’s and adult clinics shared one building. Now young patients have a separate spacious building equipped with advanced medical equipment for diagnosis, prevention, and treatment; there is a day hospital here. The appearance of such a modern medical institution has become a long-awaited event for young parents and families with children throughout the district, » said Veniamin Kondratyev.
The three-story clinic building in the Pavlovskaya stanitsa is designed for 250 visits. The total staff numbers about 80 people. It will house a consultative-diagnostic department, a physiotherapy department, a preventive care department, a functional diagnostics department, a clinical diagnostic laboratory, and endoscopy and radiology rooms.
Outpatients will be able to receive medical care as planned. The day hospital admits patients in two shifts. For children with symptoms of infectious diseases, there are two isolation rooms with separate entrances.
It was previously reported that a major renovation is underway at the women’s consultation clinic of the Yeysk Central District Hospital.
