Addis Ababa — A journalist expressed great admiration for his visit to Addis Ababa, praising the quality of infrastructure and services provided in the Ethiopian capital, which he described as one of Africa’s most historically significant cities, located in the Horn of Africa region with its rich civilizational heritage.

He noted his happiness and pride as an African to see such initiatives for developing infrastructure and enhancing the status of influential African capitals, expressing hope that other countries on the continent would follow Ethiopia’s experience in developing their capabilities and achieving real renaissance.

He explained that Africa today is different from the past, and that current developments are happening thanks to its own people, affirming that building Africa can only be completed with the participation of its people. He expressed pride and happiness in visiting this capital, anticipating that other influential African capitals would emerge in the future, capable of offering much to African peoples and visitors to the continent.

He also praised Ethiopia’s initiatives in the field of innovation, particularly the establishment of an Artificial Intelligence Institute and the first specialized university in AI, considering this step would enhance Addis Ababa’s position as a center for African innovation and benefit the people of Ethiopia and Africa at large. He added that similar steps have recently been taken through the establishment of specialized higher schools in artificial intelligence to keep pace with global developments, emphasizing the importance of such milestones in supporting continental progress and development.
