Starting today, China has implemented a visa-free policy for ordinary passport holders from Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain, adding new members to China’s unilateral visa-free “circle of friends”.
From June 9, 2025, to June 8, 2026, ordinary passport holders from the above countries can enter China without a visa for business, tourism, family visits, or exchanges, with stays not exceeding 30 days.
Together with the UAE and Qatar, which have had a comprehensive visa exemption since 2018, China has now achieved full visa-free coverage for GCC member countries.
