Taal Volcano

Taal Volcano is an active complex volcano located on Luzon Island in the Philippines, notable for being one of the world’s smallest yet most dangerous volcanoes due to its history of violent eruptions. It has erupted over 30 times since the late 16th century, with its most destructive event in 1911 claiming over a thousand lives. The volcano is famed for its unique geography, featuring a large crater lake with a small volcanic island at its center, which itself contains another lake.
