Chennai: SpiceJet flight from Jaipur makes emergency landing, all passengers safe

Chennai: A SpiceJet flight from Jaipur to Chennai had to make an emergency landing at Chennai Airport on Sunday, March 30, due to a technical malfunction detected in the early morning after taking off from Jaipur Airport. The flight landed safely at 5:46 AM.

After landing, initial investigations revealed that one of the flight’s wheels was damaged. All passengers and crew aboard flight SG9046 were safely disembarked from the aircraft.

Chennai: A Similar Incident Occurred Previously

This incident occurred just two days after SpiceJet announced that its IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certification had been successfully renewed, which is recognized as a global benchmark for operational safety and will remain valid until March 2027.
