Forecasts indicate that within the next 45 minutes to 3 hours, the southern districts of Nam Tu Liem, Bac Tu Liem, Ha Dong, Thanh Xuan… will experience rain, showers, and thunderstorms.

Following that, the storm and rain area may expand to other districts in the central area of Hanoi city.

Meteorological agencies forecast that this evening and tonight, in the Northwest region, the Northeast, the Red River Delta, and North Central Vietnam, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some areas experiencing heavy rain with rainfall of 15-30mm, and some places over 80mm.

The Central Highlands and Southern Vietnam will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some areas experiencing heavy rain with rainfall of 10-30mm, and some places over 70mm.

Warning of the risk of heavy rain with intensity over 60mm within 2 hours, causing flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas, and flooding in low-lying regions.

During thunderstorms, there is also a risk of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

According to the National Hydrometeorological Forecasting Center, between 3 PM and 4 PM today, in the Hoa Binh province, there has been rain, with some places seeing moderate to heavy rain like Ngoi Hoa 41mm, Trung Hoa 35mm, etc.

It is forecasted that this afternoon and evening in the Hoa Binh province will continue to have rain, with widespread accumulated rainfall of 20-40mm, with some places over 70mm.

There is a risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes in this province, especially in the districts of Cao Phong, Da Bac, Kim Boi, Lac Son, Lac Thuy, Luong Son, Tan Lac, Hoa Binh City, and Yen Thuy.
