As a tangible expression of the Compassion value embedded in the Triputra DNA, PT Daya Adicipta Motora (DAM) has once again demonstrated its care for the community, particularly for persons with disabilities. In commemoration of National Disability Day, observed every December 3rd, DAM conducted an educational road safety activity titled “Driving Safely, Realizing Disability-Friendly Transportation.”
This activity is a manifestation of the company’s commitment to supporting accessibility, safety, and equality for persons with disabilities in the field of transportation. Through this program, DAM strives to make a positive contribution by enhancing participants’ understanding of safe and comfortable riding techniques.
The event was held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the DAM Safety Riding Center, and was attended by 20 participants with disabilities from the Rebel Forces Motor Club (RFMC) Community.
The series of activities began with a presentation on road safety material specially designed to be relevant to the needs of riders with disabilities. Participants received education on the importance of obeying traffic rules, safe driving techniques, using appropriate riding gear, and applying the #Cari_Aman (Seek Safety) principle in every riding activity.
As a form of tangible support for safer and more efficient mobility, DAM also provided free service and oil changes for all participants. This service is expected to help participants maintain their motorcycles in prime condition so that daily activities can be carried out more comfortably.
“This activity is part of our commitment to continuously support equality and accessibility for all segments of society, including persons with disabilities. We hope this education can increase participants’ confidence in riding and encourage the creation of more inclusive transportation.”
National Disability Day
“National Disability Day” is not a specific place or cultural site, but an observance day dedicated to raising awareness and promoting the rights and inclusion of people with disabilities. It is celebrated in various countries on different dates, often marking a historical milestone in disability rights legislation or advocacy. For example, in Thailand, it is observed on January 13th to commemorate the Disability Empowerment Act of 1991, while the International Day of Persons with Disabilities is a United Nations-sanctioned day celebrated globally on December 3rd each year.
DAM Safety Riding Center
The DAM Safety Riding Center is a specialized motorcycle training facility located in Tokyo, Japan, operated by the Dainese group. It was established to promote advanced rider safety and skill development, utilizing techniques and protective gear developed from the company’s long history in motorsports and action sports safety since 1972. The center offers courses on a technical track designed to simulate real-world riding challenges and emergency scenarios.
Rebel Forces Motor Club (RFMC) Community
The Rebel Forces Motor Club (RFMC) Community is a motorcycle club and cultural organization, often rooted in the post-World War II era when such clubs emerged as symbols of rebellion and American counterculture. While specific chapter histories vary, these clubs typically form around a shared identity of brotherhood, a passion for motorcycles, and a distinct set of traditions and values that set them apart from mainstream society.
#Cari_Aman (Seek Safety)
#Cari_Aman (Seek Safety) is not a specific physical place or cultural site, but rather a widely recognized public safety campaign in Indonesia. It was launched by the state-owned railway company, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI), to promote safety awareness and responsible behavior around railways and train stations. The campaign, often seen on signage and in announcements, represents a modern, ongoing effort to reduce accidents and educate the public on the importance of caution in these environments.
