Russian Railways have frozen prices for Sapsan trains from Moscow on December 31 and January 1.

The company has announced fixed pricing for Sapsan train tickets departing from Moscow on December 31st and January 1st.

• Under the New Year tariff, an economy class trip on December 31st will cost from 2,025 rubles, while on January 1st – from 2,026 rubles. Tickets in basic class are even cheaper – from 1,832 rubles.
• It was clarified that the price during these days depends only on the seat category. It does not change due to demand or depending on the purchase date. Typically, the minimum economy class tariff at the start of sales is about 3,352 rubles. As the number of available seats decreases, the price increases and can reach up to 8,318 rubles.
